Large NatGeo Map Storage Box: Single or Two-Tone Organizer

This large map storage box holds folded maps up to 9.5 inches wide, including many National Geographic maps and larger travel maps. Choose a classic single-color box or a two-tone design with contrasting recessed lettering and details.

This box is designed for National Park map collectors, road trip planners, hikers, travelers, and anyone who wants a better place to keep maps than a drawer, glove box, or pile on a shelf.

The front of the box features raised “MAPS” lettering. The sides include a compass design, and the back features a world map design. It is 3D printed from PLA plastic and made to order in your selected color style.

Choose your finish:

Single Color: the box, lettering, and details are printed in one color.
Two Tone: the box is printed in one main color, with contrasting recessed lettering and details.

Available options include custom colors and optional custom front wording.

Two Tone colors:

If you choose two tone colors, please enter both the main box color and the lettering/detail color. Some color combinations may have low contrast, such as black lettering on a dark chocolate brown box. If your colors may be difficult to see, I may message you before printing to confirm that you still want that combination.

If you intentionally want a subtle, low-contrast look, just mention that in your note and I will print it as requested.

Custom front wording:

The standard front wording is “MAPS.”

Choose the custom wording option if you would like different text on the front of the box. Custom wording adds $4 because the design file must be edited before printing.

Short wording works best. Text over about 10 characters may need to be split into two lines so it fits the front of the box cleanly.

Please note:

Maps vary by publisher and folding style. This large version is intended for maps folded up to 9.5 inches wide. If your maps are folded to 8.5 inches wide or smaller, the Classic 8.5 version may be a better fit.

This item is 3D printed from PLA plastic. Small layer lines, slight texture variations, and minor cosmetic differences are normal parts of the 3D printing process.

PLA can soften or warp in high heat. Please do not leave this item in a hot car, direct summer sun, near a heater, or in other high-temperature areas.
