Refund policy
At The Kokomo Lighthouse, we want you to be over-the-moon happy with your purchase. But we know that sometimes things don’t work out - and that’s okay! If you need to make a return or request a refund, just let us know within 30 days of shipping. We might ask for some information like photos or descriptions of any issues, so be ready to play detective!
If your item has a manufacturing defect (oops!), we’ll happily replace it. We might ask for photos of the defect or for you to return the product in its original packaging.
If you simply change your mind or the item doesn’t meet your expectations (and there’s no manufacturing defect), we’ll refund the purchase price less any shipping fees (both the original purchase and return shipping). Think of it as a “no hard feelings” fee.
For custom items like photo lamps, exchanges are only accepted for manufacturing defects. But we’re reasonable people, so we also reserve the right to offer a refund at our discretion. We might ask that you return the items in their original condition - so don’t use them as frisbees or chew toys before sending them back!
Please note that once we hand off your order to the shipping company (usually the USPS), we can’t be held responsible for their performance. We’ll do our best to make sure your package arrives safely, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control.
