Custom Lithophane Photo Lamp: Personalized Memorial Lantern, Up to 6 Photos
This custom lithophane photo lamp turns your favorite pictures into a glowing personalized keepsake. Each 3D printed photo lamp can include up to six photos and optional text, making it a thoughtful memorial lantern, anniversary gift, wedding keepsake, pet memorial light, or family photo gift.
A lithophane creates its image through varying thicknesses in the shade. When the lamp is turned on, light shines through the white shade and reveals the photo details with a soft, warm glow.
Each lamp is made from your photos. I personally crop and adjust the images for contrast, exposure, highlights, and layout so they work well as a lithophane lamp shade. Clear, bright photos usually produce the best results.
You may use one photo, two or three larger photos, or up to six photos total. If more than three photos are used, some images may be arranged as a collage so everything fits the available space. If one photo is most important, please let me know so I can feature it more prominently.
Optional text can also be added, such as names, dates, a short quote, a memorial saying, a verse, or a short poem.

Why this lamp is different:
This lamp uses a standard candelabra-style light base, so replacement bulbs are easy to find. It is also corded, not battery operated, so you can leave it on without constantly replacing batteries.
The cylindrical shade helps the light spread evenly around the photos. This helps reduce the bright center “hot spot” that can happen with flatter rectangular lithophane designs.

Photo tips:
Bright, clear photos work best.
Centered faces usually work better than tiny distant subjects.
Avoid very dark, blurry, or low-resolution screenshots when possible. Cropping may be adjusted so the image fits the lamp shade properly.
I can (and often do) work with vintage, damaged, and lower-quality photos - just keep in mind, that while I can clean up some of the imperfections, they generally will not be quite as clear as modern digital photos.
Production time:
Standard production is usually 3–4 business days after I receive the photos. During busy seasons, especially near Christmas, production may take a little longer.
Rush production may be available from the variation menu. Rush production moves your order to one of my faster printers and usually allows shipment within 1–2 business days after photos are received.
